Introduction

Welcome to Epikton, a music licensing service owned and operated by Ramazan Yüksel. By accessing or using our website (epikton.net), catalog, or music content (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Service.

By purchasing, downloading, or otherwise using our music, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date, and that you understand your use of the Service is subject to these agreements.

Definitions

  • User / Licensee – any individual or entity purchasing, downloading, or using music from Epikton.
  • Content – all music, sound recordings, and related materials available through the Service.
  • License – the permission granted to use Content under the scope of the Universal License or All Access Pass.
  • Certificate – a unique proof of license automatically generated for each purchase, available in My Account for download as proof of usage rights. Certificates are digitally verifiable, uniquely issued for each purchase, and tied to the user’s account. Sharing or forging certificates is strictly prohibited. Certificates may be digitally verified by Epikton in case of disputes.

Amendments

From time to time, we may make changes to the Service and/or our legal documentation. Significant updates will be communicated through the website. Continued use of Epikton after such changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.

Digital Album Downloads

  • Provided for personal listening purposes only.
  • May not be redistributed, copied, resold, or integrated into any project.
  • Not covered by any commercial license.

Licenses

Universal License

  • Grants full commercial rights for one track.
  • Unlimited use across all forms of media and distribution channels, worldwide, perpetual.
  • Non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable.
  • Each purchase automatically generates a unique license code and certificate, available in My Account for download as proof of usage rights.

All Access Pass

  • Grants the purchaser an All Access User role.
  • All Access Users may download and use the entire catalog without additional payment.
  • Each download automatically generates a unique license code and certificate, available in My Account for download as proof of usage rights.
  • Non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable.

Legacy License Policy

All previously issued licenses (YouTube, Standard, Business, Film & TV, Broadcast, and others) are discontinued.
All prior purchases under these licenses are automatically upgraded to the Universal License at no additional cost.

License Duration

All licenses are perpetual, worldwide, and non-exclusive unless otherwise stated.

Platform Coverage and User Guidelines

Licensed music under the Universal License and All Access Pass may be used across, but not limited to:

  • Online platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo)
  • Commercial advertising and promotional campaigns
  • Corporate presentations and internal communications
  • Films, streaming platforms, and cinematic releases
  • Games, applications, and interactive media

The above are examples of covered usage and do not represent limitations. The license applies broadly to all media and distribution forms unless expressly restricted elsewhere in these Terms.

Users may not:

  • Transfer, resell, or distribute the music as their own.
  • Upload, release, or claim the music on music platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music).
  • Register the music with Content ID, fingerprinting services, or performing rights organizations as if they composed or own it.
  • Redistribute the raw files as standalone products, samples, or assets.
  • Use, upload, copy, extract, scrape, or otherwise make Epikton music available for artificial intelligence, machine learning, model training, fine-tuning, dataset creation, audio analysis datasets, or similar technologies without explicit written permission from the artist or rightsholder. A Universal License, All Access Pass, or any other Epikton license does not grant AI-training rights.
  • Use Epikton music in hateful, extremist, defamatory, or pornographic content.
  • Copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or bypass licensing restrictions.
  • Upload or use Epikton music in offensive, illegal, or harmful contexts.

All ownership of the music remains with Ramazan Yüksel (Epikton). No ownership rights are transferred.

Violations, Termination, and Remedies

If a user breaches these Terms, all license rights are immediately revoked. Epikton may also block or suspend user accounts involved in the violation. The user shall be fully liable for all damages caused, including but not limited to revenue loss, reputational harm, takedown disputes, and enforcement costs. The user agrees to indemnify and hold Epikton harmless against any claims or expenses arising from misuse, including reasonable attorney’s fees. The user must cooperate fully in resolving disputes, including submitting valid license certificates or other documentation when required. Epikton may permanently terminate access to future licenses and downloads if violations occur. Epikton reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including injunctive relief and monetary damages, in Turkey or any other jurisdiction where infringement occurs.

Payment & Refund Policy

  • Payment Methods: Payments are securely processed through third-party providers including İyzico (Turkey-based) and Dodo Payments (international). Accepted methods include major credit/debit cards and supported wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).
  • Taxes: Depending on your country of residence, VAT or other sales taxes may be applied at checkout.
  • Refunds: Refunds are only provided in cases of technical failure that prevents download or access and must be reported within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are not available for accidental purchases, change of mind, or misuse of the license. Refund requests must be submitted through the Support Page.
  • EU Customers: By purchasing digital downloads or licenses, you expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, as delivery of digital content begins immediately after purchase.
  • Epikton reserves the right to change, update, remove, or discontinue prices, products, license tiers, promotions, and availability at any time without prior notice. Price changes do not affect licenses already purchased; the price displayed and paid at checkout is final for that purchase.

Copyright & Ownership

  • All music remains the intellectual property of Ramazan Yüksel (Epikton).
  • Users are granted limited usage rights under the terms of their license.
  • Trademarks, logos, and branding may not be used without written permission.

Third-Party Services

Epikton may use third-party applications or services. These are subject to their own terms, and Epikton is not responsible for their behavior or content.

User Content

Users retain ownership of content they create but grant Epikton a license to use it if shared with us (e.g., testimonials, promotional features).
Epikton may remove user content that violates terms without notice.

Limitations & Service Modifications

Epikton aims to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be modified or discontinued without notice.

Force Majeure

Epikton shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, hosting provider issues, government restrictions, or platform takedowns.

Legal Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties.
Epikton is not responsible for damages arising from third-party services or misuse.

Liability

Epikton is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service.

Severability & Waiver

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains enforceable. Failure to enforce rights does not waive them.

Assignment

Epikton may assign its rights and obligations under this agreement. Users may not assign or transfer their licenses without permission.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Epikton harmless from claims, damages, or losses resulting from misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, with primary jurisdiction in Turkish courts, without limiting Epikton’s right to pursue enforcement in other jurisdictions. Before initiating legal action, both parties agree to attempt resolution through written communication within 30 days. Local consumer rights may apply in addition to these Terms, except where waived by law.

All Access Pass Scope

Important note: All Access Pass covers 1 channel on each social media platform. Channel whitelisting can only be applied if that channel does not have active claims from other artists or rightsholders.

Claim Clearance License

Claim Clearance License is a retroactive Universal License intended for previously published videos that used Epikton music without a valid license and later received a copyright or Content ID claim.

  • One Claim Clearance License covers one individual Epikton music title on one channel.
  • That licensed title may remain on unlimited affected videos on the same channel, provided those videos use the same Epikton track.
  • If the same track was used on a different channel, a separate Claim Clearance License is required for that channel.
  • Each additional unique music title requires its own license.
  • Video links are collected for reference and clearance review only. They do not increase the license count or the price.
  • Claim clearance is processed after purchase and order review. Submission of a video link does not guarantee automatic or immediate release.
  • This license is intended for previously unlicensed claimed uses. New uses should be licensed in advance through the appropriate Epikton product.
